Hello, My name is Jared Byer.
I first picked up photography in high school. I worked for the school newspaper and worked in the dark room for one year. I carried around an old film Konica Autoreflex TC. Those cameras were made like tanks. That camera banged around in the top of my school back pack and always worked.
After graduating high school I got my first autofocus SLR and I also photographed my first couple of weddings.
In 2006 I made the leap to digital photography. Digital photography allowed me to have fun with photography, and explore and be creative in new ways, both behind the camera and with image editing.
